It has been my greatest pleasure recording these songs. This album took me a year to put together. Between writing, and picking songs, I just wanted to take my time with it and see where the good Lord was going to take me. I hope you are as happy as I am with this collection. There are so many people I would like to thank and recognize. First of all, my dear friend Joannie Madden. I cannot imagine doing an album without you. My musician pals, Eamon O’Rourke, Gabe Donohue, Brian O’Driscoll and Buddy Connolly. It was a pleasure getting together with you again. To my friends Fred and Inga at Tiki Recording Studios, it was a pleasure working there again after not being there for so many years. In fact my first album with Paddy Noonan, “Irish Eyes” was recorded there in 1986. A special thanks to the gang in Dublin, Ireland, Noel Healy, Des Moore and my love, Deirdre Costello. Thank you Kristin Wilkinson. Through the years you have always been so supportive. Your string arrangements once again were absolutely superb. To a young talented gentleman in Nashville named Mark Riddick, thank you for your long hours and dedication. Your final touches and creativity brought this album from being a Chevy to a Mercedes. You have been truly gifted. I would especially like to thank Tom McGrath at Irish Music Corporation for the freedom to do what I wanted on this album. Finally, it would not be possible to do what I love without the unconditional support of my family, my wife Susanna, and my young children, Shannon and Ryan. You are my inspiration. In closing, thank you Lord for the talents and opportunities you have given me.
