"Andy's latest album shows how far he has come from his teenage days with Paddy Noonan. Recorded in New York, Dublin and Nashville, with outstanding backup musicians, it features duets with Louise Morrissey, One For the Ages and Heidi Talbot, Lover. Irish Influence is the best Cooney Tunes to date. - I love all the songs and never tire of listening to them. It is a great addition to my Irish collection. It's not the same old Irish songs. "Immaculate Heart" written by Andy is a beautiful song showing his talent as a writer as well as a singer. It is unfortunate it is the only one he wrote. "I Will Be There" is another beautiful ballad -- A Music Fan, 8-15-98
